Dan & Christina met in 2007 through a mutual friend.  Dan had recently moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University for his MBA.  Christina was living in Atlanta and working full-time at her father's business.

Although Christina was interested in dating Dan, he was oblivious.  One winter evening after a night out with Dan's roommate, Christina took the initiative.  She found one of Dan's school notebooks in the apartment's common area, and wrote on a random page asking him to call her.  After 3 weeks of waiting, Dan finally reached the page, found the note and called Christina.

They went on their first date, a hike at Stone Mountain on Sunday, February 10, 2008.

Three amazing years later, Dan took Christina to the Biltmore in Asheville, NC to celebrate their three-year anniversary.  The weather could not have been prettier.  Even though it was January 28, the sun was shining bright and the temperatures were hovering in the high 60s.  After a long walk on the beautiful grounds, sharing a bottle of champagne and a wonderful dinner; Dan asked Christina to be his wife.
